Tracy

Certified Veterinary Technician

Tracy grew up here in Coon Rapids, where she and her sisters shared an affinity for just about everything relating to nature and animals. Tending to her own family pets over the years made one thing very clear to her: she wanted to learn more so that she could help others’ four-legged friends as well!

Tracy attended Argosy University to receive her degree in veterinary technology, then secured her first job at an animal hospital shortly afterward. She would care for pets there for the next 12 years! In the spring of 2017, Tracy decided to look for a practice closer to her home in Brooklyn Park—she joined the Northbrook Animal Hospital family that April, and now helps the area’s pets every day as one of the clinic’s Certified Veterinary Technicians.

One of Tracy’s favorite parts of the job is performing thorough dental cleanings; she never tires of the before-and-after pictures! Tracy also likes passing on her knowledge of great pet care to new puppy and kitten owners.

Tracy and her fiancé, Matt, live with Tracy’s two young daughters: Anna loves sports, especially basketball, while Abby is passionate about biking and dancing. The family shares their lives with a rambunctious dog, Cedar, as well as a guinea pig named Twix who has perfected a high-pitched whistle to demand fresh vegetables.

Rachel

Rachel always wanted to serve as a voice for animals who can’t speak for themselves; coming to work every day knowing that she can make a difference is the ultimate reward for her. Of course, the tail wags and friendly kisses don’t hurt, either!

Rachel graduated from Argosy University and has been with Northbrook Animal Hospital since 2012. If you don’t see her she also splits her time working at the University of Minnesota in their Anesthesia and ER department.

Rachel shares her home with her boyfriend and three dogs. A rescue black lab mix named Delta and two tenacious pugs named Ori and Oona. In her free time she enjoys watching a good movie and enjoying time with family and friends.
